"Looking through a black-and-white photographic archive from when my father raced cars professionally in the 1970s, I discovered one constant: the signature 'Vulture' appeared on the right side of every photograph.

Years later, with my father's help, I tracked down the photographer and found out that his nickname came from his persistent pursuit of gnarly car accidents with the mission of documenting them. This work is a tribute to 'El Buitre', to his work and the relationship I had with him, and it also represents my obsession with birds of prey and the idea of being on the lookout to document catastrophic events."
